Playing in Thirds on the 1st and 3rd String

This to is the same concept, and the same pattern as in the first two lessons.


In this one you are playing both notes separately though, actually you're playing the 3rd, and then the 1st note of the scale. Be sure to try this the other two ways, playing both the notes at the same time.


I used the pick, and my middle finger, but you can play these using only a pick. I find that I can play a little faster the other way, but that can take some getting used to.


You can also use your palm to mute the strings with, and add a chicken picking flavor to this one.
