Playing in Thirds on the 1st and 3rd String

Description

This is the same concept, but we are reversing the pattern here. You actually start where you would end up, if you were playing the other pattern. Be sure to play this the other way too, and go back and reverse the first two lessons too.

You are still playing the 1st, and 3rd string at the same time, using your pick, and the middle finger. Remember this is called a squeeze lick, because you're making a squeezing motion with the pick, and your finger.

By now you should be getting used to these finger positions, so try muting the strings with your palm, and the side of your hand.
