Description
In this tutorial you learn to play a minor blues in a modern rock style. This style of blues uses extended chords and modern rhythmic patterns alongside traditional blues licks.
In this lesson, I will play an example to give you an idea of what this type of blues sounds like. Notice the chords that sound a little "out of place" for the blues and the licks that sound like traditional blues licks.
The form of this minor blues is:
Am / Am / Am / Am
Dm / Dm / Am / Am
F7 / E7 / Am / E7
This is the form that we will play during all the lessons in this tutorial.
