Description

Here is another selection of licks to play over the minor blues that we are learning. This group of licks uses single notes that held longer. Long, singing notes are an important part of any solo played in a song of slower tempo. Don't be afraid to let notes hold and ring. Embrace the decay of the note and the feedback that occasionally happens.

Also notice that even though this blues has a smooth rock sound, we still use the minor pentatonic scale that everyone loves to play over a blues.
