Description
The chords in this minor blues are a huge push toward the rock sound. Note the use of seventh chords and extended chords such as E7#9.
Memorize these chords and use them in both rock and blues. You'll hear how they change the blues to give it a smooth, metropolitan sound in our example.
I use hybrid picking to play some of these chords. Using both the pick and fingers to play the rhythm adds extra snap to the chords.
