Description

Next up is the bridge of our song. We have a cool chord progression that takes the song in a nice direction, with a measure of 2/4 at the end before leading into our final chorus.

The bridge is the following chord progression:

|| B - E F# - B - E F# - B - E F# - C#mi B/D# - 2/4 E - F# ||

For each chord throughout the whole section, we will play the same syncopation: playing two eighth notes for beats 1 and 3, and playing an eighth note followed by two sixteenths for beats 2 and 4. For the last two bars, we sneak in that bar of 2/4 for E followed by a little different syncopation for F#.

This bridge section does a great job of leading us into our broken down chorus, which we will look at in our next lesson.
