Here I show you the standard chords played with the old style jazz blues. I will be strumming with my thumb. This is a popular, older style of playing jazz. This technique was used in small combo or duo settings from the 1920s through the 1940s. Pay attention to the accents on counts 2 and 4 of each measure.
