Description

In our first lesson, we are going to break down what a major triad is and how those triads can be rearranged into what are called "inversions." Using a C major triad (C, E, G), I am going to play this triad all over the neck in several different shapes (inversions) along with showing you how to play these shapes as chords and arpeggios.

Having this knowledge is beneficial in that it helps your understanding of the guitar neck along with giving you an endless amount of options in approaching common chords. You can use these shapes and ideas in your rhythm guitar and lead guitar playing. Have fun!
