Hybrid Picking Exercises: One Finger

Description

This one is the same concept, but it has a different picking pattern.

It's still a root/5 exercise though, the root is on the 6th (E) string in the 3rd fret, and you're playing another root note with the open 3rd (G) string, and the 5 is the open 4th (D) string.

Still alternating the bass notes with the pick, and this time pulling up on the 3rd string with my middle finger.

I'm not using any muting techniques on this one either, but give it a try when you get used to it.
