Description
In this lesson we'll learn a turnaround that uses an idea called contrary motion. The trick here is exactly what it sounds like. There are two lines or voices moving in opposite, or contrary, directions. You've probably heard this one many times also. I call it the Counterpoint Turnaround, because the two lines are distinct melodies unto themselves that "counter" each other note for note, or "point for point".
