Description
For Guitar 1, I’m using a Les Paul, but any guitar is suitable. I’ve selected the bridge pickup for a bright and clear tone. Place a capo on the 2nd fret.
For Guitar 2, I’m using a Telecaster, but any guitar will work fine. I’ve tuned the guitar to Open E, and switched to the bridge pickup for a brighter sound.
A Fender tube amp is the best choice to replicate the tones heard in this tune. Dial in a crunch sound - for example, set the Preamp Gain to 75%, Bass to 45%, Mids to 55%, Treble to 60%, and Presence to 60%.
Guitar 2 uses a cleaner sound, so either drop down the amp Gain to around 30%, or lower the volume on your guitar.
I’m using regular light gauge strings that are 10-46 along with a heavy pick to dig right in.
