Description
Any acoustic guitar can be used to play this song. As for the electrics, I’m using a Les Paul for this song, but any electric guitar is suitable. I’ve selected the bridge pickup for a bright, clear tone.
A Fender tube amp is the best choice to replicate the tones heard in this tune. Dial in for a light crunch - for example, set the Preamp Gain to 65%, Bass to 45%, Mids to 55%, Treble to 60%, and Presence to 60%.
For Guitar 3, kick in a treble booster for more gain and sustain for the lead parts.
Add some reverb to both guitars for depth.
I’m using regular light gauge strings that are 10-46 along with a heavy pick to dig right in. As for the acoustic, I’m using a medium pick along with 11-52 string gauge.
