Description
Before you can speak a new language you need to learn some words (notes) and some examples of sentences (licks), so in this tutorial we’ll break down a few simple and powerful rock licks.
I’ll be using my Gretsch Duo jet for these examples with a fair amount of overdrive coming from the amp being turned up really loud and supported by one of my overdrive pedals here on the board. I also use a little bit of reverb, but as always it’s important to remember that you can use any gear you have to play these examples.
