Description

First let's turn our basic A and D chords into bluesy dominant 7 chords.

Sere we have our basic open A chord. All we have to do is lift off our finger on the G string, so it rings open. I usually fret this chord with my ring finger on the B string.

Let's try another dominant 7 chord, so grab your basic D chord. Now we're going to swap out the fingering, so our middle finger goes where the index finger currently is and then our ring finger is going to jump into the fret our middle finger just left. Finally our index finger is free to fret the 1st fret of the B string.
