Description
The first and second verses of our song feature the same chords and rhythms over a driving beat. Here are some key points to help you through it:
1. The chord progression is the same for both verses.
2. The D chord is played on the & of 2 following the E, while the A chord will be played right on the downbeat of beat 4. You will apply the same country-style swing with a loose feel for all the verses, and throughout the rest of the song.
3. Instead of just playing the E over the last measure to end the verse, you will do a walk up the low E string from E to F# to G#. This will then resolve to the open A chord to start the chorus.
