Description

Bread & butter means the central or fundamental part of a thing. It also means how you earn a living; how you earn your "bread" to pay for your bread & butter! In this tutorial we'll learn a major pentatonic lick that you've heard many times.


We'll learn this lick in the key of C, using the first C major pentatonic box pattern. It requires a little tricky picking and some serious bending. So be patient with yourself.


Once you learn this lick, you can play it everywhere on the guitar. You can use it on every chord of a I-IV-V blues tune.
