Description
In this lesson we'll examine some of the rhythm techniques used. For palm muting, you want things to be pretty tight, but not so much that you lose the note. The "sweet spot" will be different on every guitar, so play with it and find what works on your instrument.
For the power chords in this example, you can use the I-V or I-V-octave power chords. You'll be palm muting on the open low E string, and opening things up when you play the power chords until the chromatic descent at the end of the riff, when you'll mute again.
