Description
This position works with a D chord, and again I'm playing the root note after releasing the bend.
I have my pinky in the 5th fret on the 1st string, and I'm prebending the 2nd string with the ring finger.
I'm using a compressor, reverb, and this one sounds great with a chorus too.
I'm also using my middle finger to pull up on the 1st, and 2nd string, but I played the last note on the 2nd string with the pick.
Play the 1st string in the 5th fret, and bend the 2nd string up a whole step in the 5th fret before picking it. After releasing the bend, play the root note in the 3rd fret on the 2nd string.
I'm also using my palm to mute the strings after I play them, and after releasing the bend. Again I do suggest learning to do this, before you try it with the palm muting.
You can use this pattern for other bending positions on the 2nd string. All of these positions can be found in String Bending but this pattern can only be used in the first 9 positions.
