The Blues Shuffle is essential blues rhythm guitar. Every blues legend uses this as a staple of what he or she plays.
In this lesson, we'll try the blues shuffle in the key of A major. We'll review the chords in the key (A, D, and E), extract the power chords from those 3 primary chords, and then learn how to play the blues shuffle using those power chords.
In later lessons, we'll put this idea into the twelve bar blues and in every key. Mastering this idea will give your rhythm playing an instant blues feel.
