Long-term member returns to the fold

Hi, everyone 😉

Hope you're all well and looking forward to Christmas like I am! For the past 6 months, I've been learning to play violin; it suddenly made me miss my first love of guitar as a musical instrument so I came right back to the place where my journey first began.

And right in time, too, as I caught the Black Friday deal (thanks so much GT!) I cannot elaborate how much I miss holding a 6-string; I mean violin is fun, but nothing can compare with playing guitar.

Hi Drake, glad you came back to the good path! I've a similar history as I've started playing the guitar at 15, then dropped for a long time (with in and outs several times in +17 years) then started to play Piano 2 years ago and that made me miss the guitar as well and since last year I've been practicing very often (1 hour each day most days). 

I try to keep my piano routine but it's way harder to me get motivation on the piano than with the guitar, and lately I've been preferring double my guitar practice and avoid piano (although I don't want to dump Piano as it took me a lot to get to some semi-decent level XD)

Anyway, keep it playing and see you around!

Glad to meet you! Wow, piano, that's a massive aspiration; there have been times I've wanted to Hulk-Smash my violin into a thousand pieces lol. If I could afford one, I'd love to learn piano someday. For now, I'll humbly settle for what I have 😉
