But that was a very enjoyable, and often jaw-dropping deep dive through some well written and seemingly drug-fueled music journalism. I often wonder what such a list would look like if one separated the playing from the player. No names, just some original music from each musician. I'll bet that would result in a much different list. That said, I'd give an arm and a leg (OK, just a leg) to be able to play like anyone on Rolling Stone's list.

Sasca, you probably already play better than some on the RS list. Rick is my go to YouTuber. Wise in all things guitar. That list has me steamed as well. William, I thought I was going crazy too, after looking at the list. Usually something like this, I would read and reread but I was sick the first time and thought it would just enrage me.
