I have heard from a few people that strats already have room for a humbucker cut out underneath the pickguard, can someone please tell me if this is true. i would do it myself, but Someone stole my tuner, so I dont want to have to re-string it without one.

I haven't pulled up my pickguard but I would assume that you could undo a screw or three and just lift and look no?

Just loosen the strings and pull off the screws on the pickgaurd. You won't even have to take it off, there is a hole cut-out. My telecaster, and you don't see many humbuckers on telecasters, and mine has a space for a humbucker.

Some do, some don't. It depends on who made the body. Doesn't matter though. Seymour Duncan actually makes a pretty good humbucker that fits in the size of a single coil rout. Makes life a whole lot easier.
So. If you throw a cat out of a car window, is it considered "kitty litter"?
