Thank you for sharing this! It's so awesome when musicians write their own original music. Keep it up!
First Original with Lyrics
Oops, I was trying to edit when I was apparently too sleepy and accidentally deleted my original post..
Here is my first draft of my song.
I'm really enjoying the writing and editing process. And I think all the covers I've been playing has helped me really understand song structure.

A very awesome blog post. We are really grateful for your blog post. You will find a lot of approaches after visiting your post. I was exactly searching for. Thanks for such post and please keep it up.

That editing process is where songs come to life. I love that process. I have spent years working on songs that I "finished" a long time ago. The process is powerful, and I can't immagine any finished product without it. You repeat the song until it really speaks for you. Some songs never stop growing.
I like your chord structrue and lyrics and I am sure I will like it more in a few months. Keep up the writting. The more you write, the more you litteraly make the music your own.
Clearly you are on the right path.

Thank you for the kind words. I am on another break from the stringed instruments because my hand is giving me problems again. So I'm in physical therapy. My surgeon said piano is fine though and good therapy in itself, so I've been focusing on that (my third instrument!). The writing continues though. I've been wanting to write more poetry anyway so I'm writing with keeping some poems in mind for turning into future songs with a little structure change.

Thanks Faith! Just saw your post and message. :D I haven't been on quite as much because I had to take another break because of my hand. But it's finally almost totally healed and I can return to guitar again, slowly. But I've been focusing a little more on ukulele and learning how to play piano.

I saw the piano on your YouTube channel. Very cool! I keep flirting with the idea of buying a keyboard but I have enough on my hands with guitar. Now that the pandemic is almost over, I need to actually learn how to play the songs I wrote...

Great job ! I give you a ton of credit for putting yourself out there. Nice use of minor chords.
Good luck with your healing.

So glad that you're part of the Guitartricks community and that you've learned so much. Thank you for sharing and hope to see you around the forums as well. tellthebell
