I need to work out about 3 electric country sounding breaks for Honky Tonk Blues, perhaps in the style of Waylong Jennings version. It's a classic 12 bar blues. [br] Can anyone suggest some songs on Guitar Tricks site I could pull some electric country 12 bar blues solos off from? I'm playing it in key of E.

Depends on your skill level. That version of the tune uses mostly major pentatonic country tune fills with single notes, diads & bends that mimic steel pedal guitar.
If you need to start simple & learn the techniques you can do this sort of thing & make it work on every chord of a 12 bar blues.

If you can handle a little more complex licks Anders does a bunch of great standard country licks in the County course.

If you already have the skills but just want to learn some licks to adapt, then these tunes have some great licks that will work for that style.
