Need an advice : As we go along the fingerboard for fretting the power chord up to 12th fret we need to give enough pressure in order to stop the buzzy sound, accordingly as i do that for playing a song all the way from 1 fret to 12 for different chords, it is paining in the joints of fingers and in the joint of wrist and palm, is that normal or am I doing it hardly?

Thanks

S.P.Charles

Maybe the action on your guitar is to high, the space between bottom string and top last fret shouldn't be more then about 3 mm, howhigh is it on your guitar?

Thanks for ur suggestion,

It is 2mm at the 1st fret & 5mm at 12th fret.

21th fret it is 6mm

Does it needs adjustment ?

6 mm is way to high, bring it to a guitar tech for a proper set up.

Ok, but I tried to do that by tightening the truss rod 1 whole clock wise but the hight remains the same 6mm at the top last fret, after, when I try to tight even more, I heard a click sound inside the fingerboard I got scared and suddenly stopped doing it.

So it is better to take it to guitar tech ?
