When I'm recording, I hook my POD Pro up to my sound card via. SPDIF, and use Acid Pro for recording. My question is, are there any ways to bypass my pc's eq., so I can hear and record exactly the sound my POD is producing. Or, should I just set my eq flat while recording. If so, how should I set it. If you have any other suggestions about my setup please feel free to let me know, stuff like better setups, better recording programs, etc... I just want to get the best sound I can from, well, what I've got. Thanks for any help.

Where is this EQ located? Is it a plug-in?

Setting all control on neutral can do the trick.

I guess it's just the bass and treble. Should I set them both at 50% or 0?

Are you talking about the EQ on your pc speakers? If so, it's best to set them on 50% I think.

Ok, I have a soundblaster audigy soundcard. the one with all the connections that fit on the front of the pc. the speakers have no eq. I'm talking about the mixer program that came with the soundcard, just your simple bass and treble simple bass and treble. but, if need be, this thing also has just about every peramiter of an eq that you could think of if enabled. right now it's disabled to keep it simple. I dont know if this cleared anything up or not, but thanks for any help.
