Curtis Lowe Slide Tuning

Trust you are well considering the state of the world

Never caught a mention of the tuning of the slide guitar for Curtis Lowe

Should I assume it's open E then?

Hey Larry! The slide is in standard tuning.

If ever there was a different tuning for a slide part (or any other guitar part), it would be mentioned in the gear and tone video. Otherwise, you can assume it is standard tuning.

So I got my hands on a Dobro procurred from my sons studio

Don't tell him :-)

Love this thing so many little subtle sounds that can be found within it's strings

It does have a pickup and that took some learning to get the sound I was looking for

I play it thru a Pevey Classic 50 and when set up correctly it's awesome

Anyway thanks for your lesson on how to play Curtis Lowe
