A little inspiration for you.

One evening while watching TV and practicing my major chords, I came to a commercial and realized something. I was strumming in time and smoothly changing chords. I was rather surprised. I was starting to wonder when those darn basics were finally going to kick in. It took me three months of practicing an hour or two most evenings to get to this point. I am rather happy. It is also pleasing that my fingertips are no longer searing in pain. Muscle cramps in my hand from too much practice is now my issue.

If you have also jumped this beginner fence, then let us know so we can inspire others to keep plugging away.

I'm pleased for you.

It's strange how progress on the guitar seems to to go in jumps rather than a smooth progression.

It seems the brain continues to work things out in the rest periods between practice sessions.

I wish you continuing success.

Joe
