Been on a 'Stone Temple Pilots' kick the last couple of weeks. Learning a couple songs I never learned before and a few that I learned many years ago but had either forgotten completely or it had morphed over the years to the point I no longer played it correctly.

Wicked Garden, Interstate Love Song, Plush, Creep, Tripping on a Hole, and a couple others.

I will say I cheat on that crazy C#/B chord in the verse of Interstate. For now I leave off the C# and it is much easier to get. I lose the C# tonality but still keep the chromatic feel with B note. You just don't see that chord in any other song. Going to take some practice to get that chord change sounding smooth.

I really appreciate how you lay it out. It's been a breeze and a blast getting back into some great songs. Keep up the great work!

your STP lessons are awesome ! I wonder if my absolute STP favorites would also have the honour of receiving a song lesson. I would be so happy with "Sex Type Thing" and "Death And Bloated" song lessons.

Would you have any idea if these songs would make it to the new future song lessons?

And while I'm at it : any ACDC song lessons would be soooo much appreciated too !

Right on! I of course would love to teach more STP and some AC/DC, but there is quite an extensive approval process that happens between GuitarTricks and the song publishing companies. So head on over to the Song Request Forum and leave your requests there! Hopefully we can get more songs cleared and onto the site!
