I cant sound like clapton

I am playing the right notes with feel but I am playing on a les paul style guitar....my tone is going way off....any tips sir?

Hey there. There are many variables when trying to achieve the right tone. I would say keep tweaking the variables (Amp tone, guitar settings & effect settings) until you get as close as you can! Also playing style and pick choice.
