Biggest block by an artist on my MP3 is AC/DC with everything from 'For Those About to Rock' on back.

No BS rock...mmmmmm

They are the perfect example of the phrase, "If it ain't broken, don't fix it!" I read somewhere that a critic was bashing Black Ice for sounding like other AC/DC albums. If the formula works, why mess with it?

Anybody remember New Coke from the '80s?

I remember the new Coke... and wish I didn't :)

I also remember reading an interview that I think was with Angus. As I remember it the interviewer asked...

"Are you tired of hearing critics saying that AC/DC has made 12 albums that sound exactly the same?"

His reply was... "Yes, in fact we have made 13 albums..."

And yes, I am a big fan of AC/DC and was damn happy to hear Black Ice sounding like AC/DC should!

Cheers,

Andy
It's better to regret something that you have done than something you haven't.
