Bourbon is just whiskey that is made in Kentucky. It can't legally be called bourbon unless it's made in Kentucky.

Bourbon is the Whiskey made in the US, most people (that I've heard anyway) say that it doesn't deserve the name Whiskey since it has a lousy taste and can't be compared to the original Whiskey, because it's made with different ingredients

the previous is only an opinion of a few fanatics, nothing to be taken serious ;)

'Bourbon can legally be made anywhere in the United States where it is legal to distill spirits. Today all but a few brands are made in Kentucky, and the drink is associated strongly with that state. However it is not true Bourbon if it is not made in Kentucky, if it is made anywhere else it is called "whiskey."

at least that's what I heard

Guess I was misinformed then

I still disagree with you about US whiskey having a bad taste!

What is bourbon?

In the most simplistic of terms; a nectar of the Gods. Something that can turn a rather boring evening out at a bar into a surrealistic David Lynch-ian vignette. Something that will make you sound (in your own head at least) very wise and profound. A libation that will make you think you're glib, charming and witty (untili that beautiful woman at the other end of the bar sets you straight with a roll of her eyes and a 'cluck' of the tongue). In some cases, it's breakfast.

Or it's a whiskey made in U.S.

One of those, I think. :)

I've tried alot of different bourbon's over the years but Old Grandad was my favorite of them all. And probably a big part of why I don't drink anymore.

I'm just saying what I've heard ;) but it's just an opinion of friends and people I speak with in the pub, only an opinion, must be those fanatics who dislike bourbon being called whiskey because it has different ingredients, I know there are many people who love Bourbon

I'm not one of them, don't like liquors, only cocktails

Bourbon isn't just whiskey. Various conditions must befulfilled for a drink to be called bourbon, the most significant of which is that it must be made from at least 51% corn.

Bourbon is a kind of whiskey, but not all whiskeys are bourbons. I generally prefer younger (white) bourbons to older (darker) ones.

Rask doesn't count. The man is like the Terminator, only instead of being sent back from the future to kill Sarah Conner, he's been sent back to drink straight whiskey.

Bahg that reminds me of the chocolates shaped like bottles that are filled with different types of lyrics. When I was in freshman in school we'd steal a bunch of those from my friends parents and try to get drunk. I've come a long way since then.

Whiskey hurts my brain. I can't drink it, Jim Beam is the first alcohol I ever puked off of. Yes indeedy.

Different types of lyrics, hahahahaha, so thats how you write songs.

I did that same thing though with these rum chocolates my grandmom brought over from Italy.
