Kiefer Sutherland..

I've been so fascinated by his choice of characters that he has played since I was a teen.. he was usually the bad guy, until "Jack Bauer".

plus he is Canadian.. :p
Great works are performed, not by strength, but by perseverance.

I first saw Star Trek on a saturday afternoon in the Sixties
I took on board that Spock was half human.
The next day I went to Sun... school and learnt about someone else who was also half human.
fascinating...

Hugh Laurie. He's brilliant, and his american accent is flawless.
For life is quite absurd and death's the final word, You must always face the curtain with a bow
Forget about your sin - give the audience a grin
Enjoy it - it's your last chance anyhow.

I have two: Robert DuVall (usually plays supporting roles, but I love all his characters) and then for "main" actors, I dig Samuel L. Jackson (pre Snakes on a Plane), he plays such a great bad ass.

Christopher Lee.

If at first you don't succeed, you are obviously not Chuck Norris.
