Guitar 1 uses a Les Paul guitar for a thick, powerful rhythm sound, while Guitar 2 uses a Strat for a contrasting tonal color. For Guitar 1, choose the bridge pickup for clear, powerful tone. For Guitar 2, select position 2 which uses the bridge and middle pickups for a cool, phasey tone.

As far as amps go, any Marshall style tube amp is a desirable choice. Set up the amp for medium crunch by dialing the Drive to 75%, Bass to 45%, Mid to 55%, Treble to 60%, and Presence to 65%.

For Guitar 2's parts, kick in an overdrive pedal for more gain and sustain.

Add some reverb to both guitars for depth.

I used a 10-46 string gage, with a heavy pick so I can dig into those licks and fills.
Here are the settings I used:

Marshall Plexi Model:
Drive: 75% Bass: 45% Mid: 55% Treb: 60% Presence: 65%
Tube Screamer (Guitar 2):
Gain: 45% Tone: 50%
Spring Reverb:
WetDryMIX: 35%
