I'll be using the same basic electric country tone for this tutorial as I did in the previous tutorial. It's just my Fender Telecaster on the bridge pickup going straight into a modeled version of a small Fender tube amp. Other than that I'm only adding a little bit of reverb. Because of how they sound, tube amps have proven to be most popular among electric guitar players, although they're more expensive and high maintenance than the non-tube amps, called "solid-state amps". But you can get great tones out of solid-state amps as well, so don't think you need one or the other here in the beginning. Just keep your tone bright and clean and focus on your playing!
