The First Cousins: G and C

Let's start out by exploring the two extremely common country chords: G and C. Once we've gone through the basic fingerings, we'll practice transitioning between them and use them both in a simple example. In country you can often get away with briefly strumming the open strings before you fret the next chord, which gives you a little extra time for the transition and doesn't sound bad at all.
