You'll notice from listening to the song that there are no guitars during our first verse. So naturally, we are going to take a look at how to play the delayed melody that you hear during our first pre-chorus. Here are some key points to help you through it:

1. The chord progression during our pre-chorus is ||: Amaj7/C# Dadd2 | F#mi E :||

2. The arpeggios are played on the D, G, B, and E strings all in the higher position with our delay. The first time through they are played on the downbeat, while the last measure is played anticipated.

3. The extensions in our chords are what give them their unique sound. The major 7th in A is G#, and the added 2nd in D is E. It's called a Dadd2 this time around because we have the third (F#) in the chord as well.
