This lesson contains a demonstration of the "ii-V-I" progression in the key of C. This progression contains the Dmi7(ii), G7(V) and the Cmaj7(I). The neat thing about this progression is that the chords come right out of the C major scale. That means you can play the notes of the C major scale against this progression and it they should sound good. Playing against this progression is so easy that even an old rocker can do it!
