Description
While often used as the power chord shape and sound, our next interval can be used as a nice texture to your soloing as well. The "fifth" interval is a shape we are already familiar and like any of our intervals, can be looked at from a variety of different shapes. Like fourths, these intervals are neither major nor minor and only have one variation from the 7th degree of the scale (a flat fifth.) Grasping these new shapes to your already existing knowledge of this sound serves as a great introduction to this interval.
