Description

Our last example of chord embellishment switches between two different chords entirely while still keeping some notes the same. This is done to demonstrate how closely related some chords are to one another, and when played in a rock style can be used to develop a very strong and tasteful rhythm part. We will switch between the chords of Bb and Eb, using the B, G, and D strings. This technique and strumming pattern is performed in the style of Tim Johnston and Patrick Simmons (The Doobie Brothers.)
