Hello Mike,

I hope all is great!

I noticed on the GuitarTricks website (didn't notice from the app) this super cool possibility to self-video-record and submit to teachers for an assessment on how one plays and advice to work on to improve. I think this is a fantastic opportunity to get expert advice but also, I imagine, to get advice on how to best leverage the incredible amount of content that's on the site based on this assessment.

What I'd like to ask is: What should I play in the video I'll record to make the most out of it? Should I play a song, or a few chords switching, or what? How long should it be? Should I prefer any specific angle to record myself? E.g. full frontal with guitar fully visible or what, provided I'll be recording by smartphone?

Basically, any help/advice to shoot a video that makes sense to get the most out of it would be really appreciated.

Many thanks in advance,

All the best,
