matonanjin2, I will be looking to do this after the first of the year. I want to get all of the parts on hand, so I don't have to completely dismantle it more than once. I plan to assemble all of the parts on the pickguard first. I actually already have the pick guard. My original plan was just to just change the pickguard and replace the bridge, but I got to thinking and decided why not go all the way. I will post a new thread when I am done, and probably document it with lots of pictures!
