Well me too. I'm 53 and just signed up. I did a similar thing. I've always had a guitar around and could play the odd riff but that was it. It was more ornamental than anything else.

So I've decided to give it a real go.

As I said I'm 53 and I have short thick fingers so I'm not making it easy for myself. But I love it and I'm practicing every day. I'm actually getting better and my chords are ringing cleanly now.

I may never be SRV, but I might be able to entertain my friends at drunken barbeques!
