When I first started playing my seven string Ibanez I did it for one main reason. To be different, that's it. Yes, I could've tuned down my low E, but I wanted to show everyone that the seven string guitar wasn't a waste of time or money and that it could be used melodically. Now that the seven string has finally caught on more with bands such as Korn and Limp Bizkit people are finally giving it chance. I don't neccessarily like to use the seven string like Korn, and Limp Bizkit do, but they are doing there own thing and that's what's important. So before judging anyone over what guitar they choose, remember, it's their choice in the first place. Take it easy!
