I agree w/ Jake Sommers- Jam w/ some people and see what happens. I've found that my bass and guitar playing get alot better alot faster when I'm in a band or just jamming out alot. Also I have a friend who plays along w/ the TV alot, he has 3 little kids, and they don't want to hear Cold Shot, they want to hear theme songs to shows they watch. This man can play the Pullups Diaper Jingle like it was nothing.
