Description
The Circle Of Fifths is a music theory concept that shows the relationship between all twelve possible musical keys. Graphically, it is a circle with all 12 possible musical note letters placed around the circle clockwise, each a distance of a fifth apart. Because one can move around the circle counter-clockwise it is also know as the Circle Of Fourths.
In this tutorial we will discuss the theoretical concept of the Circle Of Fifths and then discover some of its applications in music.
