In this style tutorial we're gonna check out how to play some surf guitar! We're gonna start with getting in the right vibe by dialing in the right tone and check out some surf appropriate reverb settings.

We'll be looking at typical rhythmic and melodic phrasing both for rhythm and lead playing. We'll check out some tremolo picking and other right hand techniques, and also look at some specific rhythm and lead parts that we will put to use in a little exercise song at the end of the tutorial. I'm also going to show you some cool tricks you can do with the tremolo arm to ad some extra flavor to your playing.
