Chorus

Now it's time to come up with and practice a chorus for our song. The important thing to remember here is that the chorus has to be the peak or the climax of our song. If the verse is cruising down the highway, the chorus is reaching an epic destination! Let's use the new strumming pattern!

This part works well for the chorus because we're strumming 8th notes and full chords, so that's already a step up with more strums and more notes. We're also changing chords twice as fast which creates even more excitement.

Of course the vocal melody and lyrics also have a lot to do with what makes it a chorus, but this way we're providing the best possible foundation to support the vocal.
