I’m using a Super Strat style guitar set for the bridge pickup to play this song, but any electric guitar can be used. Additionally, any acoustic guitar can be used to play this song.

As far as amps go, any Marshall style tube amp is a great choice. Set up the amp for an overdriven crunch sound.. Set the Drive to 75%, Bass to 50%, Mid to 55%, Treble to 60%, and Presence to 60%.

Guitar 2 uses an overdrive or distortion pedal in front of the amp for more gain and crunch. For the first interlude lead, there is lots of chorus used for a distinct sound. Guitar 2 also uses echo throughout.

I’m using 10-46 gage with a heavy pick to dig into these aggressive riffs and licks.

Here are the settings I used:

Marshall JCM 800 Model:
Drive: 75% Bass: 50% Mid: 55% Treb: 60% Presence: 60%
Tube Screamer (Guitar 2):
Gain: 100% Tone: 75% Level: 75%
Chorus (Guitar 2):
Rate: 30% Depth: 40% Wet/DryMIX: 45%
Tape Delay (Guitar 2):
Time: 475ms Feedback: 30% WetDryMIX: 35%
