I hope you've had a ton of fun learning this classic blues song. People always tend to get overwhelmed by open tunings, because they think they have to adapt all the stuff they already know to work in the new tuning. But that's not the goal! Open tunings make certain things extremely easy- like blocking out chords and lead parts with a slide- and other things extremely hard. So just use the open tunings for what they're good for and play the rest in standard tuning. And although some people get crazy advanced with the slide playing, I hope this song has shown you that you really don't need to. To me, the simplest stuff is the most powerful in this style of music, and this song is the perfect example of just that. Have fun with it!
